I can’t believe it. Tomorrow I will be going to Japan! I cannot wait until I get to see my girlfriend. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures, and perhaps my blog will begin to contain some actually interesting content… or not

University friends, keepers for sure
March 26th, 2010Tonight I met up with some good University friends of mine, Karl and Mike. It’s a shame that I let so much time pass between when I see these guys. I think I might be a bad friend… or maybe they are! But I suppose I should do my part on the whole stay in touch thing. After all we made Strum Zone together!

Aside from my woes as a friend we all seemed to have a great time… well I did at least. Our night was much like that of teenage girls in high-school, gossip gossip gossip. Well no, actually just talking. Talking about awesome things in fact! Like video games, technologies, memories, …, and girls (women actually, I am coming of age…) We might have talked a little about magic too. What do you expect though? We are pretty cool duds, uhmm dudes!
I can’t believe we talked for as long as we did though. 5 hours if you don’t include the time I spent eating my delicious chicken strips (and salad babe! I ate salad, proud?) All in all though It was great seeing them again.
I think these guys are keepers for sure.
As an aside, I will be in Japan so very soon! I am really really excited.

March 15th, 2010So I just starting watching the first episode of this HBO mini series “The Pacific” and guess who I found! Joseph Mazzello that’s who. I’d recognize that mug anywhere! …thanks to all the times I’ve watched Jurassic Park! The first one of course.

But as for the show it looks pretty promising. My friend from work couldn’t stop talking about it so it must be good. After all he did hook me on Breaking Bad (the best show ever). Well perhaps I’ll write what I think about it after it’s all over.
I imagine it’s going to be filled with American propaganda… hrm.

Mayu’s gone…
March 9th, 2010This morning was unbelievably sad. I had to say goodbye to my girlfriend for the first time since we started dating. Although we have only been dating for 10 months it was such a crushing feeling. I guess it’s due to the fact that we haven’t spent a day a part since living together. Now I will have to wait 3 weeks before I see my sweetie next.
I will be counting down the days until I get to go to Japan to see her. 25 days left

March 6th, 2010Has anyone else noticed how polluted facebook has become? I remember back when it was just wall-to-wall, messaging and pictures. You even had to have a university email address to sign up. But then came the news feed… then the applications… then the complete take over of “so-and-so sends you a heart” and “would you like to see you gift”. If I wanted all this I would use MySpace… then I would at least be able to css my homepage. uggh
All I want is the option to block all applications automatically so I can live in peace when staying connected with my friends. Please!
